In the Area

Hazyview is a special corner in South Africa and there is so much to see and do.  We would recommend a seven night stay.  You need time to go day tripping in the Kruger, explore the Panorama Route and still enjoy all the facilites found within the Kruger Park Lodge.

The Kruger National Park

Pack your picnic basket and head into the Kruger for the day.  There are picnic sites to enjoy where you can hire a skottle, or if you prefer at each Rest Camp you will find, a restaurant, take-away coffees & snacks, plus the cutest safari souvenign shop and bathroom facilities.  Note:  To enter the Kruger: I.D's or Passports are required with per person entry fee paid at the Phabeni Gate.

02

Graskop Gorge

Take the lift and drop into the gorge below and a world of walkways, waterfalls and butterflies.  If you are a little more adventurous, try the suspension bridge, ziplining and the bridge swing.  To end your adventures, there is a lovely  outdoor restaurant overlooking the gorge.

Gods Window and the Blyde River Canyon

A must on a clear day ~ the views and the open spaces.

A full day needs to be given to this Panorama Route  adventure, from God's Window, to cruising through the Blyde Canyon and exploring Borkes Potholes.

04

Pilgrims Rest

Step back in time stroll through the streets of this gold mining town dating back to the 1880's.  Quirky and quaint best describes Pilgrims Rest ~ be sure to stop off to tea and scones at the Royal Hotel.

Elephant Whispers

An enlightening interactive elephant experience to meet five magnificent African elephants.  Learn about these amazing creatures, walk with them into the forest and hold their trunk in the palm of your hand.  Elephants are remarkable in their intelligence and gentleness and they love tickles...

06

Adventure Time

Maybe try out white water rafting or tubing on the Sabie river... always great family fun - making memories for a lifetime.   These are guided tours and lessons are given on the banks of the Sabie, before you clamber into your canoe or tube.

Dine Around in Hazyview

From a Mediterranean Cafe serving light bites & cocktails to a Steakhouse and a Pizzeria, all  found at Perry's Bridge - our favourite is Kuka Cafe.  For delightful homemade cakes - Shiloh Coffee Estate.  Plus, lets not forget takeaways... Nandos for peri peri chicken
