Kubu Lodge is a privately owned holiday home perfectly situated in the Kruger Park Lodge in Hazyview, approximatly 4.5 hours drive from Johannesburg. The closest airports are Kruger International in White River, approximatly 50kms away and Skukuza Airport inside the Kruger National Park. The Kruger Park Lodge is a 4* resort managed by the Legacy Resorts & Hotels Group. Staying at Kubu gives you full access to all the onsite activies and guest facilities. We are 12kms from the Phabeni Gate - this gate offers direct access into the Kruger National Park.

The Kruger Park Lodge Welcome
As you arrive and go through Security on your way to Reception, you will always be warmly welcomed.
Note: The Kruger Park Lodge does not allow Day Visitors - only guests who have accommodation bookings.

Reception Desk
​The Reception desk is open daily and attends to all check-in formalities for each guest arriving at Kubu Lodge.
The check-in time is from 15h30 and check-out time is 10h00 on day of departure.

Excursions Desk
The Travel Desk is found in the lobby and staff are available on-site to assist with Safari bookings into the Kruger, day tours and excursions as well as advise on which restaurants to go to in Hazyview.

Golf
The Kruger Park golf course was designed by Gary Player in 1992 and is rated as one of the top 9 holes (18 tees) courses in the country.
Par 72, 6100 m. Golf carts and golf clubs can be hired from the Pro Shop.

G's Bistro at KPL
Hands down... G's Bistro is a WINNER.
Open daily from breakfast to dinner serving delicious meals ranging from eggs benedict, cappucinos and croissants for breakfast to a super seasonal menu for lunch and dinner. And in the afternoon, who can say no to the cake of the day, or cocktails and icecream served by the pool...

Boma dinner on the Sabie River
​This is a must - if you are there on a Tuesday night, book for the Boma Dinner !! This is a traditional South African Braai (barbeque). Salads, roasted veggies, pap & gravy, rump steak, boerewors and chicken served hot off the fire. And to end... Malva pudding of course.

Summer Days
​There are three swimming pools in the resort, plus a seperate kiddies pool. The main pool is found in the entertainment zone, where they serve light meals and drinks (read cocktails & beers...) throughout the day. A favourite of ours during peak season - the secret pool - go looking for it.

Getting your steps in
There is a 5km trail around the resort, taking you on a journey through the ravine, into the forest, along the hippo loop and down to the Sabie river.
Fresh air abounds and beautiful bird life - these walks truly are a highlight for outdoor enthusiast.

The Hippo Hide
A perfect spot of sundowners.
Pack your cooler bag and make your way down to the hippo hide at sunset - as the sun dips over the hills, the hippos emerge from the dam to set off foraging into the night on the neighbouring litchi farm.

Only for Kiddies
A place for kiddies to enjoy their holiday.
This kiddies zone is pure fun, with a jungle gym, trampolines, mini golf and a kiddies pool.
Note: Parents are responsible to supervisor their children at all times.
